How to Cancel Paramount Plus Subscription on Android Phone, Tablet, and Android TV
Paramount Plus has been here for a couple of weeks already, and many subscribers believe they've pretty much figured it all out, so they want to cancel their accounts already. Let's see how you can cancel your Paramount Plus subscription on your Android Phone, Tablet, or Android TV.
Paramount Plus has taken over for CBS All Access, promising to add a ton more content from the ViacomCBS networks BET, Paramount Network, MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, and others, as well as Paramount Pictures. Not all content was immediately available at launch, but it will be trickling in as we go.
Of course, folks are annoyed by this, and they're no longer willing to stick around. That being said, if you're one of the folks who no longer want to use Paramount Plus and you want to cancel your subscription via Android phone, tablet, or Android TV, we have you covered.
- If you are on your Android phone, Open Google Play.
- Tap on the menu icon (≡) on the top left corner of the screen.
- Click on the Subscriptions option, You will find the list of all active subscriptions.
- If you are on your computer, find your active subscriptions by visiting g.co/play/subscriptions.
- There, select Paramount Plus, which is the service you want to cancel.
- Tap on the Cancel subscription button displayed.
- Then, you'll be asked why you are canceling the service so tick the appropriate check box and tap on the continue button.
- Once again, tap on the Cancel subscription button and you're done.
As a note, this method works if you subscribed to Paramount Plus on your Android device or TV through the Google Play store. Even though you have cancelled the subscription you can still enjoy the service until the end of your billing period.
If you're unsure which platform you subscribed through, you can load Paramount Plus, go to your Account area, and check out the information offered in the Subscription & Billing area.
The options currently available are to sign up via Google Play, iTunes, Amazon, Roku, or directly on the Paramount Plus website. In case Google Play is not there, you can just tap on the link they offer and you'll be taken to the platform you used to sign up to Paramount Plus.
