Military and cop shows are clearly a trademark of CBS, what with NCIS, Criminal Minds, FBI, and Blue Bloods, to name just a few. Well, this coming April a new show joins the ranks and if you want to watch The Code online, we're here to give you a great start.

The Code is a brand new show that's scheduled to premiere on CBS on April 9, 2019. The show will focus on the work put down by the brightest minds in the military who take on new challenges inside the courtroom and beyond as every attorney plays a complicated role where they're trained as prosecutors, defense lawyers and investigators. All of this, on top of being Marines.

The show will air on Tuesdays at 9/8c on CBS, which means there are plenty of ways you can watch the show online and we'll get into all of them in just a moment.

Can You Watch The Code on CBS for Free?

Unfortunately, that's not an option. CBS doesn't even feature a live stream on its site since it's trying to do all it can to push its own streaming platform - CBS All Access. You can, however, watch CBS live in a few other ways, including by subscribing to a live TV platform that features the channel. Let's go ahead and learn more about your options.

What Live TV Platforms Can You Watch The Code On?

Nowadays, we spend so much time on the Internet, it has become an integral part of our lives, whether we're chatting up our friends, binging on our favorite shows, working, ordering food, or laughing at stupid memes. It makes sense, therefore, to also watch TV online. Live TV services are a complete contrast to regular cable because they're far cheaper, they can be customized quite a hit, and if you want to cancel you can do that anytime, since there's no contract involved to tie you down. Plus, the biggest advantage is that you can watch TV anywhere you go, as long as you have a compatible device and access to the Internet. Let's go ahead and learn all about the options you have here.

FuboTV - We're starting out our list with fuboTV, which is a platform where you can opt for one of two bundles - fubo and fubo Extra. Luckily for you, you can find CBS on both of these bundles, so you can pick whichever one you like best. Plus if you want to customize, there's the option of adding a bunch of extra packs and premium networks. Read up TechNadu's fuboTV review for more details.

CBS All Access - We must also discuss the network's own streaming service, CBS All Access. This one provides subscribers access to a live stream of whatever they're broadcasting on the channel, as well as to on-demand videos of dozens of shows. You can read all about in our CBS All Access review.

Hulu - Following up, we have Hulu, which is a single-bundle platform. For the $44.99 you pay each month, you'll get access to dozens of channels - including CBS - and all the on-demand shows the platform features. There are a couple of channel packs you can add if you want, as well as premium networks. Our Hulu review will give you more details on what the service has to offer.

YouTube TV - Another single-bundle platform is YouTube TV and it's only $40 per month. The collection features pretty much any channel you need, including CBS. There are only a few things you can add to this platform to customize your plans, and they're all premium networks. Check out our YouTube TV review to understand the service better.

PlayStation Vue - Next up, we have PlayStation Vue, which is one of our favorites on the entire list. There are four bundles to pick from here - Access, Core, Elite, and Ultra - and CBS is part of them all. There are a couple of channel packs available, as well as premium networks. Read up on our PlayStation Vue review to find out all about the really cool perks subscribers get.

DirecTV Now - Another suggestion is DirecTV Now, which has recently undergone some changes. There are now two featured bundles - Plus and Max - and five older bundles that got rebranded and had their prices hiked two-fold - Entertainment, Choice, Xtra, Ultimate, and Optimo Mas. All of these bundles feature CBS, so there's no need to worry about it. Our DirecTV Now review comes with a lot more details.

What Can You Do If CBS is Not Available in Your Area?

CBS is one of the channels that works through local stations, which means that in some areas across the United States, not even live TV platforms will deliver the channel. Well, live TV platforms work like any other site, which means they read your location by looking at your IP address. This means that you can easily use a VPN to switch location and to make it seem like you're in a more populated area, for instance, where CBS is an option. Here's what you need to do.

Note: We can't go further without mentioning that the very same steps we discussed above can be used whenever you travel abroad. Live TV platforms are geoblocked, which means they can only be accessed from within the United States. This is an annoying issue, of course, but it's one that we can overcome with a simple tool. So, remember, when you're abroad and unable to watch the shows you love, you can power up the VPN and pick a US-based server. [/highligth]

How Can You Watch The Code With a TV Antenna?

CBS is one of the channels that can be enjoyed with the help of a TV antenna because they broadcast over the air. So, if you use a TV antenna you can check out whatever is on CBS, including The Code. The benefits of switching to a TV antenna have long been discussed with the financial advantages being the primary focus. Since the only expense is getting the actual antenna and watching TV then becomes free, you're going to save quite a bit each month. The downside is that you only get to watch maybe a dozen or two channels, depending on where you live.

But, before making up your mind and ordering an antenna to be delivered to your door, make sure to visit a site like NoCable to check what channels are available over the air in your location, and how strong the broadcast signal is. If it all goes according to plan, go ahead and buy yourself the right antenna for your needs.

How Can You Watch Older Episodes of The Code?

Well, this is a CBS show, so if you want to check out the latest episodes from The Code, you should head out to their website. You will be able to check out the latest five episodes. If you want to watch more than those five episodes once that may air, you're going to have to go ahead and find other solutions. One of them is checking out CBS All Access and the episodes you'll find there. Also, usually, NBC shows usually land on Netflix, so we'll keep an eye on that one too. So far, no news of episodes being added there.

There's also the option of purchasing the show's episodes and seasons from sources like Amazon Prime, iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, Vudu, or Microsoft Store, but since the show hasn't aired yet, we don't have links for them. We'll add them as soon as they show up.

That being said, we'd love to hear what you think about the show and what platform you're using to watch it all. Let us know by commenting in the section below.
