How to Watch Tony Awards 2023 Online Free from Anywhere

By TechNadu Staff / June 10, 2023

No event shines brighter than the Tony Awards when celebrating Broadway's theatrical skill and lavish glamour. This year's event, Tony Awards 2023, is more than just an homage to the greatest of Broadway; it's also a monument to the undying spirit of theater that has persevered in the face of hardship.

The 76th annual Tony Awards will be organized in New York City, but not at Radio City Musical Hall or the Beacon Theater, as is traditional. The Tony Awards will be held this year in the United Palace, a stunning theater in Washington Heights.

This year’s Tony Awards are getting closer, and artists like Jessica Chastain, Jodie Comer, and Josh Groban will be honored for their achievements on Broadway. Chastain and Comer were nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for their roles in A Doll's House and Prima Facie for their roles in A Doll's House and Prima Facie.

It will be glorious and fun, for sure! So, where to watch Tony Awards online? Don’t worry; we have all the info for you. Read on and learn everything you need about the annual event and how to access the Tony Awards live stream from anywhere.

How to Watch Tony Awards 2023 Online from Anywhere

There are many streaming services, making it effortless for the audience to enjoy different kinds of content. So, you can easily watch the Tony Awards on Paramount+ or CBS if you live in the United States. However, most streaming platforms have geo-blocks on their libraries, so it can be difficult to access your streaming service if you are traveling outside your country. Don't worry if you're experiencing this problem! Masking your IP address and tricking the network will solve this issue, so you can use a VPN to watch Tony Awards 2023 online without any trouble.

We have an excellent VPN recommendation for you. One of the best VPN services, ExpressVPN has thousands of servers in more than 90 countries worldwide. It also has unlimited bandwidth, a no-log VPN, and live support around the clock. How to Watch Tony Awards 2023 in the US

If you're in the US, you can watch the 2022 Tonys on the CBS website by logging in with your TV provider credentials. You can also watch it online without cable with the help of live TV and streaming services that host the network.

Viewers can also access the show on their smart TV, streaming device, mobile app, or online by going to Pluto TV and clicking on the Pluto TV Celebrity channel. No payment, registration, or sign-in is required.

A Paramount Plus streaming subscription is your best option for seeing the ceremony in the United States. After a 7-day free trial, the cheapest subscription plan (with limited ads) costs $4.99 monthly. And there is a $9.99 monthly Premium option if you'd rather watch your favorite TV series and movies without any commercials.

It's also important to note that the monthly starting price for the Paramount+ with Showtime bundle is $11.99. Additionally, you may add Paramount+ as an ad-free Prime Channel on Prime Video for $9.99 per month.

Let's look at several platforms where CBS is available so you can get the event there.

Keep in mind that all these services are geo-restricted. If you are traveling outside the US, you can watch the ceremony online from anywhere using a reliable VPN. Simply activate your VPN, select a US server, and you can get around geo-restrictions.

How to Watch Tony Awards 2023 in Canada, Australia, and the UK

Folks living in Canada and Australia can watch the 2022 Tony Awards live stream on Paramount Plus, as the streaming service is available in both countries. A subscription to the service costs CA $9.99 per month in Canada and AU $8.99 per month in Australia after a 7-day free trial

Paramount Plus is now also available in the UK for £6.99 monthly. However, we don't yet know if the 2023 Tonys will be available on the UK edition of Paramount Plus. This streaming platform was not accessible when the program aired last year, so audiences on the other side of the pond may finally be able to enjoy the glamorous atmosphere.

As you may know, most streamers are geo-fenced due to licensing agreements. You can use a good VPN to help lift any geo-blocks you may face. Select a server from your home country when you turn on the VPN and access Paramount+ to watch the show.

Who is Hosting the 2023 Tony Awards?

Ariana DeBose, who hosted last year's ceremony, will return to host the 2023 Tonys, although her responsibilities will be limited due to the writers' strike. Similarly, this year's presenters will not be reading from a teleprompter. Presenters will only have cue cards with the candidates' names on them, which is all they are required to read at this time.

Who Will Perform at the 2023 Tony Awards?

Ariana DeBose, the show's host, is clearly on the list. Because of the writers' strike, she is only anticipated to perform one opening performance. The major draw of the evening, however, is the musical and musical revival acts. According to a press release, the performing plays include Camelot, Into the Woods, and Juliet, Kimberly Akimbo, New York, New York, Parade, Shucked, Some Like It Hot, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, as well as all of the candidates for Best Musical and Best Musical Revival.

The show will also feature a performance from A Beautiful Noise, the Neil Diamond musical that was not nominated; the cast of Funny Girl; a performance for the year's Special Tony Award winners, Joel Grey and John Kander; and a performance by Joaquina Kalukango, 2022's Best Actress in a Musical winner.
