There's a new documentary series set to premiere soon that will help us travel back 66 million years to when majestic dinosaurs and extraordinary creatures roamed the lands, seas, and skies. We have all the information you may need, including the release date, so let's see when, where, and how to watch Prehistoric Planet online from anywhere in the world.

This new series lets us experience the world of dinosaurs like never before as it shows the world's most extraordinary creatures like you've never seen them before in an epic five-night event. The documentary follows dinosaurs recreated with computer-generated imagery living around the globe in the Late Cretaceous period, 66 million years ago. It set out to depict dinosaurs using current palaeontological research such as feathered dinosaurs.

Executive Producer Jon Favreau and the producers of Planet Earth signed this new series, and Hans Zimmer composed an original soundtrack for this title. It is the first major dinosaur-focused documentary series produced by the BBC since Planet Dinosaur in 2011 and the third overall (the first was Walking with Dinosaurs in 1999), and it is produced by the BBC Studios Natural History Unit with visual effects by Moving Picture Company and is narrated by natural historian David Attenborough.
