How to Watch Better Nate Than Never for Free on Disney Plus

By Lore Apostol / April 1, 2022

Better Nate Than Ever is a 2022 American coming-of-age story musical family-comedy film involving musical theater and Broadway. Better Nate Than Ever had its world premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA, on March 15, 2022, and now the movie will be available to stream online, so let's see when, where, and how to watch Better Nate Than Never on Disney Plus.

Thirteen-year-old Nate Foster is an unpopular Midwestern kid who vividly fantasizes about becoming a big Broadway musical star, so you'll love this comedy based on the book by Tim Federle's 2013 novel of the same name if you're a High School Musical fan. However, the kid can't even get a decent role in his middle school's drama productions, as he gets cast as a tree in the play instead of the lead role he wants. He and his best friend Libby sneak off to the Big Apple, where he's unexpectedly reunited with his long-lost Aunt Heidi.

The cast includes Rueby Wood as Nate Foster, Joshua Bassett as Anthony Foster, Nate's older brother, Aria Brooks as Libby, a theater kid, Lisa Kudrow as Aunt Heidi, and we'll also see Norbert Leo Butz.

We will be able to watch Better Nate Than Never on Disney Plus starting Friday, April 1, 2022. As it usually happens with new content on streaming services, this title will be made available to watch after midnight PT. This is only one of the many new original Disney titles landing this year on the streaming platform.
