By Lore Apostol / December 16, 2022

Apple’s hit espionage drama is back, so get ready to watch Slow Horses Season 2 pretty soon. The premiere date, plot, cast, and episode release schedule were confirmed, and you'll even be able to stream the series from anywhere you may be.

Adapted from Dead Lions, CWA Gold Dagger Award-winning Mick Herron’s second novel in the Slow Horses series follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 – Slough House.

This darkly funny espionage drama follows Slough House members as they navigate the espionage world’s smoke and mirrors to defend England from sinister forces. Jackson Lamb is the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes, and by his side is River Cartwright, an up-and-coming MI5 agent who was demoted after a very public training exercise mistake.

In season two, long-buried Cold War secrets emerge which threaten to bring carnage to the streets of London. When a liaison with Russian villains takes a fatal turn, our hapless heroes must overcome their individual failings and raise their spy game in a race to prevent a catastrophic incident.

The series is produced for Apple by See-Saw Films and adapted for television by Will Smith.
