Instagram Stories: Now Ask Questions to Friends and Followers
- Instagram is on fire: releases another feature for Instagram Stories through which you can now ask questions to your followers and friends.
- Users were already asking questions on their stories using the 'text.'
- The update hasn't rolled out for everyone. It might take some more days to get on to your mobile.
Instagram is seemingly on prescripted drugs and can't hold back even for a couple of days before launching something new. In less than a week, Instagram gave us a new lite version of it, IGTV app, four-way video chat, new search interface, music in stories, and now it is adding another feature on Instagram stories: Asking questions.
The Facebook-owned company has now added the ability for users to ask questions in stories which for some reason wasn't yet there, even after releasing polls and gifs last year. Instagram has updated its stories with emoji sliders too, which can now be used with this asking questions. This feature is new, but it isn't really new. People have previously added questions on their stories under the text option.
Now, when you publish a story on Instagram, you can post a question to your followers to get their answers under the direct messaging option.
Here are our step-by-step instructions on how to add a question to your stories:
- Launch the App
- Go to Stories
- Capture a Photo/Select a Media from Gallery
- Click on the 'Smile' button at the right top of the screen
- Click on the 'Question' button
- Click on 'Make a Question' and write the question you would like to add for your followers/friends
- Double Check everything
- Publish the Story
If you don't see an option to ask questions on stories, kindly update your Instagram. The feature has been reported by multiple users on various occasions on social media. However, it hasn't yet rolled out for everyone and might take another day or two to get to your mobile.
