What is the plot of The Wrong Track?
The Wrong Track is a heartwarming and humorous drama-comedy that follows Emilie, a struggling single mother trying to put her life back together. After her ex-husband moves on and asks their daughter to live with him full-time, Emilie’s world seems to be falling apart.
When an accident forces her to move in with her athletic, wealthy brother Gjermund, he presents her with an unusual challenge: if she wants to stay, she must complete the Birken, a daunting 54 km skiing race. With no skiing experience, Emilie is thrown into an intense training regimen, but as she struggles to keep up, something unexpected happens.
What begins as a seemingly impossible task becomes a journey of self-discovery, as Emilie uncovers strengths she never knew she had. As she pushes through the physical and emotional obstacles, she begins to believe in herself and her ability to change her future.
