NordVPN Launches Beta for a Business-Grade Solution Named “NordVPN Teams”

By Bill Toulas / September 11, 2019

NordVPN has announced an advanced VPN solution for business, named “NordVPN Teams”. The new product targets business owners, organizations, and even freelancers who want a more tailored solution to cover their needs. While it technically remains very similar to the standard NordVPN product, “Teams” offers centralized billing options, more powerful user administration and account management options and priority 24/7 customer support. In addition to this, Teams makes it easy to buy multiple accounts in bulk, and transfer licenses in the case of personnel changes. Already, NordVPN is serving many thousands of companies and employees through their regular VPN solution, so they already have a market for “Teams” to get started strongly.

From a technical perspective, NordVPN Teams will assign a dedicated IP and server for each user, ensuring stable and uninterrupted access. The same military-grade 256-bit encryption, no-logs policy, and compliance with privacy regulations that characterize the regular product are to be found in “Teams” as well. This is great, because NordVPN is a highly polished and reliable solution, without any data leak incidents staining its records, and a certified “no-logs” policy confirmed by an independent auditor. Having all that with elastic licensing options and powerful account management features is all that one could ask for really.

All that said, NordVPN Teams has entered its beta stage, so right now it’s time for testing. Those who want to deploy Teams on their company will have to wait for a little while longer, otherwise, you may join the early access program. The minimum number of accounts for the beta testing participants will be “five”, and the company will also give testers the option to select specific features that concern remote workers, geo-targeted campaign monitoring and verification, and more. For now, there are no details about the pricing of NordVPN Teams or anything about when it will be made available for the wider audience.

This year has been a very busy one for the company, as they announced a new password manager called “NordPass” back in June, and a new file encryption service called "NordLocker" in May. This latest, business-grade solution will help NordVPN complement their range, and cover the full spectrum of their customers’ needs. If you are thinking about buying NordVPN, know that there are still five days left before the generous 75% discount offer expires, so go ahead and take advantage of the Summer Sale offer right now.
