Switzerland has the most athletes in the competition, with 111 of them competing across all events. Russia has 106 competitors, while Germany has 90 of them.
Albania, Azerbaijan, Ecuador, Haiti, Hong Kong, Kosovo, Qatar, Singapore, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, and Turkmenistan are on their first participation in the Winter Youth Olympic Games, although Haiti, Qatar, and Turkmenistan are on their first participation to a Winter Olympic of any sort.
