Olga Polishchuk, Vice President of Investigations at ZeroFox, says the main problem surrounding AI-driven changes is not AI itself, but the fear and uncertainty employees may experience when they do not know how it will affect their jobs.

Companies should treat AI adoption as an agency challenge by allowing employees to experiment, raise concerns, and influence how the technology is used instead of merely imposing it.

She believes companies should involve employees in decisions about AI. Giving workers room to test the technology may make the change feel less threatening.

Polishchuk also identifies an AI-awareness gap. Some people place excessive confidence in AI-generated material, while others distrust authentic content. Both reactions can impair judgment and increase exposure to misinformation, impersonation, and employment scams.
