ONIMAI: I’m Now Your Sister! Announces Anime Adaptation

The manga series ONIMAI: I'm Now Your Sister!, written and illustrated by Nekotofu, has announced its plans to release an anime adaptation. In addition to the announcement, the production team has revealed the main staff and cast for the series. A teaser visual for the anime adaptation has also been released.

ONIMAI follows Mahiro Oyama, an otaku who lives with his younger sister Mihari, a scientist. Due to Mihari's experiments, Mahiro is transformed into a woman and must now learn to live as one! The series is a light-hearted slice-of-life comedy anime series, so be sure to check it out at its release. Read on to know more.

ONIMAI: I'm Now Your Sister! Anime Adaptation: All We Know

The anime adaptation for ONIMAI: I'm Now Shingo Fujii will direct Your Sister in his series directorial debut at Studio Bind. Ryo Imamura is designing the characters with EGG FIRM producing the series. Michiko Yokote is in charge of series scripts. A release date for the anime is yet to be announced.

Marika Kono as Mahiro Oyama (Saki in Mitsuboshi Colors)

Kaori Ishihara as Mihari Oyama (Shota in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid)

Kodansha USA, who publishes the manga's official English version, describes the series as:

"Mahiro Oyama was just a normal erotic-game loving dude...until he woke up one morning as a woman! Turns out his mad-scientist little sister, Mihari, tried out one of her new experiments on him...with a disastrous outcome, as far as Mahiro's concerned! But Mihari is as determined to study him as he is determined to go back to his shut-in, game-playing life, and one thing's for sure...life is going to get a whole lot weirder from here on out!"
