How to Watch Polar Bear on Disney+

By Lore Apostol / April 22, 2022

Disney Plus has quite a few new titles they announced would land on the streaming platform on Earth Day. One of these is Polar Bear, a new movie that will be included under the Disneynature umbrella, next to other adorable stories such as Dolphin Reef or Elephant. This time, we'll go north to follow the white-coat bears, so let's see how to watch Polar Bear on Disney Plus.

First of all, you need to have an account with the platform in order to access any of the titles in its library, so go ahead and subscribe to Disney Plus if you haven't already.

You can also check everything that's coming to Disney Plus this year (that we know of so far) in our dedicated article.

When and Where to Watch Polar Bear

According to the announcement Disney made, Polar Bear launches exclusively on Disney Plus on Friday, April 22, 2022. Like most of its content, this title will most probably be available on the streaming platform after 12:00 AM PT (3:00 AM ET), so you can easily tune in when you wake up.

This movie is one of the adorable Disney Plus originals from the Disneynature category, and this means it's exclusive to Disney Plus. So, since you can only watch Polar Bear on this platform, you can subscribe to Disney Plus, or you can save 25% if you decide to go for the Disney Plus, ESPN Plus, and Hulu bundle and take advantage of the current deal.

What Is Polar Bear About?

In Disneynature's Polar Bear, we'll get to see a new bear mother and her cubs in a story about navigating motherhood in the increasingly challenging world that polar bears face today. To succeed, she exploits the memories of her own youth to repeat the same steps as her mother did a while back. This beautiful nature special will be narrated by two-time Academy Award nominee Catherine Keener (whom you might know from Capote or Being John Malkovich), so we look forward to seeing it.

Polar Bear is singed by Alastair Fothergill and Jeff Wilson, the directing team behind Disneynature's Penguins, and produced by Fothergill, Wilson, Jason Roberts, Keith Scholey, and Roy Conli.
