Key Takeaways
  • Service Compromised: GTA V and CS2 cheat service Atlas Menu suffered a data breach affecting nearly 64,000 user accounts.
  • Database Published: An attacker released the exfiltrated database to a public GitHub repository.
  • Exposed Records: The breach leaked email addresses, IP addresses, passwords, support tickets, and usernames.

Atlas Menu, a recognized GTA V and CS2 cheat service, suffered a data breach in May 2026. The incident compromised the system infrastructure, affecting 63,926 unique email addresses tied to the platform's user base. Following the initial network intrusion, the data exposure was verified and officially added to the breach notification service Have I Been Pwned (HIBP) on May 30, 2026.

Scope of the Compromised Data

The comprehensive dataset contained multiple highly sensitive identifiers and operational logs. According to HIBP, the impacted information connected to the leaked accounts includes:

The exposed passwords were mathematically secured and stored as bcrypt hashes. While bcrypt provides a rigorous cryptographic defense against brute-force attacks, the public availability of these hashes still presents a serious security risk.

Unauthorized Access and Data Distribution

During the security incident, an attacker claimed to have successfully gained access to all Atlas systems. After infiltrating the network environment, the threat actor extracted the service's internal database and published the entire dataset to a public GitHub repository.

In April, a Rockstar Games data breach reportedly leaked analytics, including in-game revenue tracking and player behavior patterns for titles like Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online, as well as fraud detection systems and anti-cheat model testing.

In early 2025, a Path of Exile 2 breach led to hacked player accounts and theft of in-game items.
