Apple hasn’t confirmed any news regarding iPhone 8 but its global supplier chains did reveal some new upgrades. Sources reveal that iPhone 8 will have Water Resistance feature upgrades surpassing the iPhone 7 one.
Korea Herald in its blog confirmed from its multiple sources 2017 iPhones will have the IP69 water and dust resistance and it’s currently expected to be available in both iPhone 7S and iPhone 8. They can withstand full submersion up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.

But Apple rival Samsung had kept the headphone jack in its flagship smartphone Galaxy S7 even though it had IP68 water resistant in it.
