How to live stream the European Parliament Meeting with Mark Zuckerberg online
Mark Zuckerberg is set to appear before the European Parliament to discuss the recent controversies surrounding the social media platform as well as the company’s user privacy policies. The meeting has been scheduled from 12:00 PM ET (18:00 CET) to 1:30 PM ET (19:30 CET) with the European Parliament President Antonio Tajani. The event will begin with a handshake and introductions between Tajani and Zuckerberg at 12:00 PM ET (18:00 CET), and the conference will begin at 12:20 PM ET (18:20 CET).
The meeting was initially set to be a private affair, but protests from several Members of Parliament and the public led to the EP President and Facebook CEO to mutually agree to live stream the hearing. The live stream will be accessible from Tajani’s Facebook page.

The meeting is scheduled to be approximately 75 minutes long and will be much shorter than the congressional hearing in the US that Zuckerberg was a part of in front of US Senators and the House of Representatives. The meeting with the European Parliament is important because of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) goes into effect soon and recent Facebook data breaches that require policy changes on the social media company's front. The GDPR was created by the European Union to protect user privacy.
