UFC 251: Usman Vs. Masvidal – How to Watch, Date, Time, Fight Card, and Price

By Gabriela Vatu / July 10, 2020

UFC is back with another fight, this time between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal. UFC 251 will air soon and we plan on watching the event online, so let’s go figure out how you can do that too!

UFC 251 will take place at the Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Originally, the fights were supposed to take place at the Perth Arena in Perth, Australia, but the event got postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The fact that the fights will take place on Yas Island is part of the effort put in by Dana White - UFC president - to start holding the fights on a private island, also known as “Fight Island,” so the events are not impacted by US travel restrictions.

When is UFC 251: Kamaru Usman Vs. Jorge Masvidal?

UFC 251 is just around the corner, as the event is scheduled for July 11th, 2020. Estimates indicate the main fight between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal will take place just after midnight, but it all depends on how long the fights before it takes.

Where is UFC 251 Held?

As mentioned, the event will take place on "Fight Island", also known as Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. Dana White has been trying since the start of the pandemic to figure out a way to bypass the travel restrictions imposed by the US. This time around, he managed to do just that with Yas Island.

If the name sounds familiar, that's because the island was previously used to host the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix during the 2009 Formula 1 Championship.

For now, the events will continue to take place without spectators so as not to risk Covid-19 infections.
