Saiyuki Reload -ZEROIN- Anime Adaptation to Release English Dub Episodes!

Kazuya Minekura's Saiyuki Reload manga is currently running its anime adaptation of the "Even a Worm" arc titled Saiyuki Reload -ZEROIN-. The story is loosely based on the 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West (Saiyuki in Japanese). According to the latest announcement by anime streaming platform HIDIVE, the English dubbed version for the series is coming soon! Saiyuki, the original manga series by Kazuya Minekura, was serialized in G-Fantasy from 1997 to 2002.

The manga franchise as a whole has 25 million copies in circulation worldwide. Tokyopop published the original manga, and Kodansha Comics re-released the manga. The manga series inspired four television anime series, an anime film, three OVA series, and several stage musical productions. Saiyuki Reload Blast's anime series premiered in July 2017. According to the latest reports, Saiyuki Reload -ZEROIN- will begin streaming the English dubbed episodes from February 24 at 11:00 AM EST. The episodes will stream on HIDIVE and be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Latin America, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Scandinavian countries, and the Netherlands.

The four main cast members of the previous Saiyuki, Saiyuki Reload, Saiyuki Gunlock, and Saiyuki Reload Blast television anime, are reprising their roles. The English Dub cast for Saiyuki Reload -ZEROIN-, directed by Shannon D. Reed, includes:

"When the monstrous Gyumaoh was defeated by the war god Nataku Taishi and imprisoned in Houtou Castle, an era of peace began in the land of Togenkyo. Now, hundreds of years later, those seeking to resurrect Gyumaoh have unleashed a plague upon the world. To save humanity from violent slaughter, Kanzeon Bosatsu sends Son Goku, Genjo Sanzo, Sha Gojyo, and Cho Hakkai to the west in order to prevent Gyumaoh from rising once again."
