Reddit To Transform Into a Social Network With New Profile Pages

On Tuesday, the popular social news aggregation platform Reddit announced to launch user profiles to their websites.

According to the report of Reuters, the user profiles allow the people to post the content on their individual pages and also follow other people’s profile page. Similar things are performing in Facebook and Twitter.

In 2005, Reddit was started, at the time it revolves around the forum. Some of the inconvenience also there, that is to create their own content due to the restriction in Reddit, so the creator doesn’t create their post themselves. The Co-founder Alex Ohanian acknowledged this issues.

First, the company had started an alpha test with a small group. The three profile are selected for testing based on high-profile Redditors. Reddit Co-founders Alexis Ohanian, Shitty- Watercolour and Riot Games are the three users who have given their profile for Alpha testing.

The Reddit platform says that they will make the user profiles for all the Redditors in the coming month. This feature will roll out the world and the company expected more response for user side.
