Play It Cool, Guys Manga To Receive Anime Adaptation!

Make way for the cool but goofy foursome because Kokone Nata's slice-of-life comedy manga Play It Cool, Guys is officially getting an anime adaptation! Along with the announcement, the staff has also released many character visuals, giving fans a sneak peek into the main characters' designs. In addition, a teaser visual and a trailer have also been released.

The series has also revealed the voice actors' names who will be playing our four clumsy main characters. Kokone Nata launched the Play It Cool, Guys manga in June 2019 on the Gangan pixiv website. Square Enix published the fourth volume on November 22. Play It Cool Guys Anime: All We Know

Based on the manga by Kokone Nata, Play It Cool, Guys will be directed by Chiaki Kon at Studio Pierrot. Makoto Uezu is in charge of series composition, while Eri Taguchi handles the character designs and chief animation direction. The music for the upcoming series will be composed by Masato Nakayama.

Yen Press, which publishes the manga's official English version, describes the series as:

"Enter: a group of cool guys who seem like they’ve got that unapproachable swag. But look closer and you’ll find a bunch of dorks who’ve gotten the act down pat. So sit back, grab some popcorn, and enjoy watching these clumsy dudes try to look cool all day, every day."

Chiaki Kobayashi as Hayate Ichikura (Yuichi in Tomodachi Game)

Koki Uchiyama as Shun Futami (Izumi in Horimiya)

Yuichiro Umehara as Takayuki Mima (Courier in Akudama Drive)

Shoya Chiba as Soma Shiki (Kiyotaka in Classroom of the Elite)
