One Piece Film Red Reveals Trafalgar Law’s Character Visual

The 15th film in the One Piece franchise, ONE PIECE FILM RED, will release soon! Ahead of its premiere, the production team has been unveiling several designs for the characters in the movie. One Piece creator, Eiichiro Oda, will serve as a general producer and supervisor for the upcoming film.

ONE PIECE FILM RED was first announced on November 21, 2021, commemorating the series' 1000th episode release. The film was directed by Goro Taniguchi and written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa at Toei Animation. The script for the film had been discussed by Oda, Taniguchi, and Tsutomu Kuroiwa for over two years before they proceeded with production.

ONE PIECE FILM RED is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on August 6, 2022. Before its premiere, the film revealed the character design for the Heart Pirates captain, Trafalgar Law! The visual's tagline reads, "What is this turn of events?" Details about an international release are yet to be announced.

ONE PIECE FILM RED is slated to air soon, and according to reports, the film will focus on a new female character and "Red-Haired" Shanks. The first character poster featuring the mysterious character revealed in the original teaser trailer has been released. The announcement reveals nothing else about the character, except the Japanese text on the poster reads, "Hey Luffy, stop being a pirate!"

According to Shinji Shimizu, a producer from the One Piece anime, One Piece Film: Red is the only film of the franchise in which Eiichiro Oda has actively participated the most. Oda is the executive producer, character designer, and script reviewer of the film. Take a look at the character poster below:
