Made in Abyss Season 2 Announces Summer Release!
The official website for Made in Abyss has recently announced a confirmation for the second season's release! Along with the release confirmation, the website also revealed a new key visual for the series, featuring Riko, Reg, and Nanachi. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the second season of the series.
Made in Abyss Season 1, inspired by Akihito Tsukushi's fantasy adventure manga, was aired for 12 episodes from July to September 2017. The series also released two compilation films, Journey's Dawn and Wandering Twilight, followed in January 2019. The franchise released another new film, Dawn of the Deep Soul, in January 2020.

The second season of the series, Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, is set to premiere in Japan in July 2022. A new key visual featuring the series's main characters has also been released. Check it out below:
