How to Watch The Curse Online from Anywhere

By Lore Apostol / January 17, 2024

The Curse is a new comedy series about a married couple who hosts a renovation show in a small town. It streamed on Friday, November 10, 2023, on Paramount Plus with Showtime, fuboTV, and Sling TV in the US and on Paramount Plus in Canada, it airs on Showtime at 10 pm on November 12, 2023. In the UK, Australia, and more, the series debuted on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

Yet, these services are all geo-restricted and show an error message outside of their allowed areas. For example, Paramount Plus does not work everywhere and the Showtime bundle is blocked outside the US. But don’t worry - there is a workaround available.

A VPN running via a US server changes your IP address to match an American one and makes the streaming service perceive you as being where the server is. This way, the error is gone and you can stream The Curse from anywhere.

This being said, let's see when, where, and how to effortlessly watch The Curse online from anywhere, why you need a VPN, the series preview, episode guide, cast, trailer, and more.

How to Watch The Curse Online With a VPN

You can easily watch The Curse online with a VPN once the app runs via a server from a location where the desired streaming service works since this step removes the geo-restrictions. Here’s how:

  1. Subscribe to a VPN that works with Paramount Plus (we recommend NordVPN).
  2. Download and install the VPN app for your device.
  3. Launch and turn on the VPN via a US server.
  4. Load Paramount Plus and stream the title.

You will also find The Curse on Paramount Plus in the UK, Australia, Canada, and more, and on fuboTV and Sling TV in the US.

Why Do You Need a VPN to Watch The Curse?

You need a VPN to watch The Curse because all streaming platforms are geo-restricted, and Paramount Plus with Showtime only works in the US, while Paramount Plus only offers this title in the UK, Australia, Latin America, South Korea, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

So if you want to watch this title without a VPN from outside these countries, an error message appears on your screen saying, "Paramount+ is available in select markets. Content varies by region and is subject to change."

Paramount+ Geo Block

A VPN removes the error message, considering this tool can bypass the geo-blockade by changing your IP address to a US one and making the service see you as being where the server is. You just need to turn it on using a US server to steam The Curse from anywhere.

We recommend NordVPN since it unblocks all the live TV and streaming platforms out there in a few moments, including Paramount Plus, fuboTV, Sling TV, and more, and it is one of the best VPNs on the market.

The Curse 2023 Series Preview

The Curse is a Showtime Original comedy series where the main characters are HGTV presenters Whitney and Asher Siegel, who form a struggling newlywed couple. After one year of marriage, they move into the small community of Española, New Mexico, where they hope to bring an eco-friendly, passive house "revolution" with their pilot of Flipanthropy.

Their show focuses on the duo's efforts to build and sell chic and sustainable homes designed by Whitney to lure out-of-town buyers and high-end businesses to ultimately help the community.

Their efforts are complicated by an eccentrically flawed reality TV producer, Dougie, who sees an opportunity in their story, and their plan puts them in a web of ethical and moral gray zones while trying for a baby and keeping their relationship alive.

Its first three episodes premiered at the New York Film Festival in October 2023.
