Discovery Plus is going online in the US and several other countries early next year, and it's planning on a rapid expansion across the globe. Thankfully, Discovery Plus isn't that expensive to get.

According to the announcement, Discovery Plus will cost $4.99 per month for the ad-supported version and $6.99 per month for the ad-free one. The annual price points haven't been revealed thus far, but it is quite likely that they'll be $49.99 and $69.99, depending on which option you go for.

In European countries, the service will be €3.99 per month or €39.90 per year. At the same time, in India, where Discovery Plus is already available, the service costs ₹99 per month or ₹299 per year, which is a whole lot cheaper than what you'd get in the US. However, the content is also set to be a bit different between platforms, so that's something you need to take into account as well.

Discovery Plus will provide people with access to live streams from a slew of channels under its umbrella, shows, and movies, as well as plenty of Original content that you'll only be able to watch here. Plus, you'll get to binge-watch your favorite shows, so what's not to love?
