Haikyu!! Manga To Release Special One-Shot Chapter For 10th Anniversary
Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has recently revealed that mangaka Haruichi Furudate's series, Haikyu!!, will be getting a new chapter soon! The manga series was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2012 till December 2020. Viz Media is currently publishing the series in print and published the manga simultaneously with its Japanese release digitally.
The series has also been adapted into an anime series by Production I.G, the first season of which premiered in April 2014. Season 4 of the series was split into two halves, with the first half premiering in January 2020 with 13 episodes. The second half, consisting of episodes 14 to 25, was originally planned to premiere in July 2020 but was delayed due to the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and premiered in October 2020.
Throughout its run, the manga has inspired several stage plays, a clay-animated short, compilation anime films, and several video anime. Fans can check out the anime series on Crunchyroll, VRV, and The Roku Channel.
Haikyu!! Special Anniversary Manga Chapter Release Details
The 12th issue of this year's Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has revealed that Haruichi Furudate's volleyball manga series, Haikyu!!, will soon be getting a special one-shot chapter in celebration of the series' 10th anniversary. The chapter will reportedly reveal what Hinata and others are up to in 2022. While the announcement has been made, the issue did not reveal when the new chapter will be published.
In celebration of the series' 10th anniversary, several additional projects have also been announced for the year. Other projects include a 10th-anniversary commemorative book, LINE stamps drawn by Furudate, an ongoing exhibition, a collaboration with V League, a radio drama (with a script by Furudate), and a digital full-color edition of the manga.
