Google Earth is getting the new update

Recently, Google announces a major new update for its 'Google Earth'. The company has sent out press invites or the unveiling of a ‘new Google Earth’ service. This event is being organised on April 18 in New York city, just four days before Earth Day which is celebrated on April 22nd every year.

The current version of Google earth in which you can employ Google Street Level to navigate foreign lands and fly through 3D representatives of major cities. In these Map Gallery, you can view the real earthquakes, hiking trails, and watch planes in flight.

Actually, the Google Earth VR was introduced in November, and currently available for free on Steam for HTC Vive. In which user can have experience of walking or jogging the street of an exotic city from the comfort of their living place. The user can also fly over the famous landmark and stand on top hills and all.

This Google Earth software was first started in the year 2001 as EarthViewer 3D, developed by a company called "Keyhold", later which was funded by CIA was acquired 3 short years later by Google, finally the year 2005, the software was renamed as Google Earth.

Google Earth has offer many new features, including a way to view the solar system and universe along with the integrating street views from the company's new service. Google give assurance show off a Google Earth's user interface next week.
