fuboTV User Engagement Tripled This Past December

By Gabriela Vatu / January 16, 2019

December was a really great month for fuboTV, it seems, as the streaming platform announced it had nearly three times more viewers in 2018 than it did in the previous year.

According to the announcement, fuboTV names connected TV usage as the largest driver for the jump in the engagement of its users, exceeding 70 hours per subscriber in December, which makes for 2.5x higher year over year. "Users spent nearly 90 hours in December on the leading connected device in that category," the company notes.

fuboTV prides itself that throughout 2018 they were the only live TV streaming service to offer streams in 4K HDR. Plus, they believe that it was product innovation which improved user experience, as well as the broad programming offer that helped fuboTV grow." fubotv was also the first to launch "dynamic discovery" - a patent-pending interface through which subscribers can browse live entertainment, news, and sports programming via an in-progress preview directly on the home screen and seamlessly click to full video," fuboTV said.

David Gandler, co-founder and CEO of fuboTV said that subscribers leaned into the innovative product launches and expanded programming from the previous year and spent significantly more time on the platform.

fuboTV offers four bundles to pick from - fubo ($44.99/mo, $39.99 for the first month), fubo Extra ($49.99/mo, $44.99 for the first month), fubo Latino ($24.99/mo), and fubo Portugues ($19.99/mo), as well as loads of channel packs and several premium networks you can add.
