Dr. STONE: Ryusui Special Episode Release Announced

Dr. STONE's special episode is set to premiere sooner than you think. At the AnimeJapan 2022 stage, the series creators revealed when fans could expect to watch Dr. STONE Special Episode - Ryusui. Alongside the date, the character design setting art for the titular character Ryusui was disclosed, showing just how cool he is.

Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine previously revealed that Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki's Dr. Stone manga would have a new chapter around the same time the special airs. The manga ended on March 7, with the 26th and final volume shipping on July 4.

Dr. STONE Special Episode - Ryusui Release and More

Dr. STONE Special Episode - Ryusui is slated for a summer release! At the AnimeJapan 2022 convention, the series panel said that the special episode would air on Tokyo MX and BS11 in July 2022. The special will be set after the second season and center on Ryusui. Crunchyroll will air the episode as it releases in Japan.

The Dr. STONE anime series has aired two seasons, with Season 3 of the series slated to release sometime in 2023. Fans looking to watch the anime series can check it out on Crunchyroll. The platform also features the English dubbed episodes of the first two seasons and dubs in Russian, German, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Crunchyroll's official description for the Dr. STONE anime series reads:

"Several thousand years after a mysterious phenomenon that turns all of humanity to stone, the extraordinarily intelligent, science-driven boy, Senku Ishigami, awakens. Facing a world of stone and the total collapse of civilization, Senku makes up his mind to use science to rebuild the world. Starting with his super strong childhood friend Taiju Oki, who awakened at the same time, they will begin to rebuild civilization from nothing...
