NFL Sunday Ticket Access Now Available on DirecTV Now

By Nitish Singh / August 22, 2018

If you are an NFL Sunday Ticket account holder, you can now tie in your account with your DirecTV Now subscription and watch all of your content in one place. NFL Sunday Ticket is a DirecTV satellite thing and the football matches being moved to the digital subscription plans makes it convenient for subscribers to catch up on all the matches without requiring a satellite subscription.

You need to have access to at least the DirecTV Now “Live a Little” plan to access NFL Sunday Ticket content. The service is currently limited to users from Greater Los Angeles, Phoenix, Boston, Philadelphia, San Antonio, Hartford (Connecticut), and Louisville, Ky. With just weeks to go before the NFL regular season starts, it is definitely a welcome addition for DirecTV Now subscribers.

The current coverage of the new service is limited, and the streaming company has put out no word if more users will be getting access to the NFL Sunday Ticket content. Users with streaming subscriptions can head to NFLSundayTicket.TV and access all of the season games online.

DirecTV Now raised the monthly subscription costs last month and promised users more programming. The hike was announced after the AT&T and Time Warner merger. With the company promising more content to the subscribers, it’s great to see NFL matches making it to the platform. Users can now have access to 100 hours of DVR recording via cloud storage, up from the previous limit of 20 hours. So if you think you will be missing out on NFL games, you can simply record matches of your favorite team and watch them later.
