Sony is reportedly merging its two anime streaming services! The latest announcements from the company confirmed that Funimation's entire anime library is moving to Crunchyroll! Fans were given access to Funimation's library and simulcast content starting March 1. The union of the two platforms brings more than 1,600 hours of content from Funimation, including blockbusters like My Hero Academia, JUJUTSU KAISEN, and Fruits Basket Crunchyroll.
Sony has also announced that it will not raise prices on Crunchyroll's packages (for now). However, future new series will be exclusive to Crunchyroll starting April 1. Furthermore, Funimation will only add new episodes of continuing series. Funimation's official website advises fans to cancel their subscription and opt for a Crunchyroll subscription instead.
However, the platform also offers a special deal with a free 60-day Free Crunchyroll Premium trial for select Funimation subscribers. Read on to find out if you're eligible.

However, as a special treat for fans, Funimation, Wakanim, and VRV subscribers are reportedly getting a special deal offering 60 days of Crunchyroll Premium free! Qualified users will receive an email by March 8, 2022, with their unique link to redeem this offer. Whether you're qualified for the free trial or not depends on the following:
