We're prepping up for some impressive fighting this coming weekend, as Deiveson Figueiredo faces Alex Perez in UFC 255. We're going to dive into it and see how we can watch the event online!
This next PPV event from UFC, the UFC 255, will happen at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. Figueiredo will be on his first time defending his flyweight champion belt against challenger Alex Perez, currently ranked fourth. Figueiredo became the flyweight champion when he defeated Joseph Benavidez back in July.
Since this is a Pay-Per-View event, you should prepare to pay for access.
It's going to be a full night of MMA, so let's find a way to watch the whole thing.
Watching the UFC 255 in the United States is fairly easy to do, but you will need to purchase the PPV event, like any other similar fight.
Watch UFC on ESPN+. Get access to UFC Fight Nights. Subscribe to ESPN+ today.
To be able to buy UFC 255, you need a subscription with ESPN+. If you already have one, you can pay $64.99 for the event. If you don't have ESPN+ yet, you can get a good deal by paying $84.98 for an annual plan of ESPN+ and UFC 255. Currently, the annual ESPN+ subscription goes for $49.99, so you'd be saving up some bucks.
You can also get ESPN+ via the bundle that includes Disney+ and Hulu for $12.99 per month, but then you'd have to purchase UFC 255 separately.
ESPN+ is a fairly cool platform, especially for sports lovers who want to get access to exclusive events, like UFC Fight Nights, for instance. The subscription also brings access to original content, articles, and more. You'll get to watch ESPN+ via the same ESPN app everyone uses, as the content is marked with a badge.
ESPN is available on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, Apple TV, Android TV, Roku, Chromecast, smart TVs, and more.
If you don't want to subscribe to ESPN+ but still want to take a look at the UFC 255 prelims, you can do that on ESPN2. Those of you who have been thinking about cutting the cord have a few live TV platform options to go for.
fuboTV is a great single-bundle service that features ESPN2. You can get the main bundle via a few packages that include extra channel packs and premium networks at discount prices. Hulu with Live TV also features ESPN2 in the main bundle, and so does Sling TV, which features the channel in the Orange and Orange + Blue bundles.
This is not a Pay-Per-View event in the UK, and you can enjoy both the prelims and the main card on BT Sports.
Those who have an Android device, whether a smartphone or a tablet, can head over to the Play Store and download the ESPN app if they haven't already. Once installed, log in with your ESPN+ account.
Tune in on the event once UFC 255 starts. You can also purchase the event from the app if you haven't already.
In order to watch the fight between Figueiredo and Perez on iOS devices - tablets and smartphones - you need to install the ESPN app in the App Store. Once there, you can connect to your ESPN+ account.
If you've already purchased the PPV event, you can tune in at the right time and watch the fight. Otherwise, you can also purchase UFC 255 from the app.
If you own a Roku, you can enjoy the next UFC PPV event fairly easily, as you'll only need to have the ESPN app. Install the ESPN app on your Roku TV, log in with ESPN+, and start the PPV even when the time comes.
You can also purchase the event from the app if you so desire.
If you have a Fire TV or a Fire Stick, you can still watch the next UFC event. In fact, plug in the Fire TV stick in your TV, and search for ESPN to get the app. Once everything is installed, launch the app and sign in to your ESPN+ account.
Make sure you activate the account and then tune in at the right time to watch the PPV event. You can purchase UFC 255 from the app if you haven't yet.
As the fight nears, sportsbook companies are placing their bets. Sportsbook lists Deiveson Figueiredo is the favorite with -305 odds, while Alex Perez comes in with +240 odds.
Sportsline also predicts Figueiredo will win, giving it -300 while Perez comes with a +250.
If you're not one to usually bet for sports and are unsure what the odds mean, we're going to give you an example. For instance, if you bet $305/$300 for Figueiredo, you'll win $100. For Perez, if you bet $100, you'll win $240/$250, depending on where you place your bets.
Much like the betting houses, experts also believe that Figueiredo will win this round against Perez. He will have to prove to be one of the most skilled fighters in the UFC.
On the other hand, Perez is not one to take a beating without retaliating. He's fought a couple of times this year, and he's won both of the fights in the first round.
