Xiaomi Mi 6 runs on Snapdragon 835 chipset and claims not to have a 3.5mm Headphone Jack!

One of the latest rumor in Xiaomi Mi 6 is that it would not feature the traditional 3.5mm audio jack even when we get regular releases of its Mi Piston Pro in-ear earphones, that was leaked in the last couple of weeks. The Xiaomi company now releases a new set of Bluetooth earbuds.

Another dimension of the device which is expected to launch in April packing Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 chipset.

The leak comes from china's website, Weibo which is also accompanied by Xiaomi's official website. And the screenshots reveals that the Xiaomi Bluetooth headset X priced at 699 Yuan (approximately Rs.6,608). It also noted that Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus also skipped 3.5mm headphone jack and came with lighting port earphones. However, the company sells its Bluetooth enabled Air Pods separately at $150 in the US. The Xiaomi company planning to introduce the separate Bluetooth-enabled Air Pods in Marketplace.

They also leaked an image of Mi 6 and a protective casing. However, the casing doesn't have a cut-out for the 3.5mm port at the top edge where it is usually located. The several leaked real images of the Xiaomi Mi 6 show that the LED flash is located on the right side of the camera but not left.

Several leaks are viewed, it is not a genuine one, we are not yet convinced Xiaomi is joining the growing number of smartphones manufacturers who are killing the legendary 3.5mm headphone port from their devices.

As for the past company's record of launching the smartphones in India which are inconsistent. And the smartphones was originally expected to arrive at MWC 2017, but the company long before the tradeshow that they won't be coming in Barcelona this year.
