Xiaomi CEO confirms the launch of Mi 6 model in April, the reports and images are leaked

Xiaomi is expected to launch its next flagship device the Xiaomi Mi 6. Recently, we saw a few interesting features of the upcoming Mi 6 including the iris recognition. Another leak has a probable launch date of the new handset.

Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi company went on the live-streaming and he announced that Mi 6 would launch in April month. According to the Chinese site reports, the company targeting the launching date on April 11th.

The reports further confirm, the company would indeed skip the 3.5mm audio jack and would introduce a USB Type-C port and wireless charging support and it has a minimal bezel on the side and bottom. And the Photographs look like high-screen-to-body-ratio devices it will be the new trend in this year.

The top bezel houses all the standard sensors on the handsets such as the front camera, notification LED and all. and the right of the device contains the power and volume button. The rear side of the handsets have a dual camera set up and the more expensive Mi 6 Plus will be featuring these in the horizontal layout. The phone is featured with Snapdragon 835 combined with 4GB/6GB of RAM along with some amount of internal storage.

The company's next flagship will be a budget device but not mention the approximate price of Xiaomi Mi 6.
