The Travellers Championship is preparing to kick off soon, and we are eager to watch it all online and see who wins the tournament.

The Travellers Championship is a professional golf tournament that started back in 1952. Nowadays, the competition is held at the TPC River Highlands course, and the Greater Hartford Community Foundation manages it.

The 2020 edition of the Travellers Championship will be held without an audience to protect everyone from the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic. That's probably a perfect idea considering that hundreds of thousands of fans usually attend the event. The Travellers Championship is the second most attended PGA Tour event every year. While there are no numbers for more recent years, back in 2017, there were 290,000 fans present at the course.

Last year, Chez Reavie won the tournament, with Keegan Bradley and Zach Sucher coming in as runners-up. We are curious to see who's going to win this year. You can check out the full list of participating golfers by clicking here.

How Can I Live Stream the Travellers Championship?

Watching sports online is something that it's fairly easy to do nowadays because there are numerous live TV platforms to help us out. Whether we're talking about the Golf Channel or CBS, there are plenty of supporting platforms, and one of our favorites is fuboTV. The platform has a single bundle of networks available, and you will find both channels easily in the main bundle. If you are interested in extra content, you can always add any of the available channel packs and premium networks. Start your free trial on fuboTV now!

One of the really cool things about fuboTV is that it was specifically built for sports, which is why it features dozens of dedicated channels. Over the years, they've added plenty of entertainment networks as well, so you will have a lot of content to enjoy. fuboTV works on loads of devices, including iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, Chromecast, Roku, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and more. (Note: CBS is one of the channels that broadcast in select markets only, so if you live in an area with no coverage, you can use a VPN to connect to a nearby server and watch the golf tournament. You can click here to get more details on the steps you need to take to make this work.)

Other Ways to Watch Travellers Championship Online

Hulu - Another cool platform where you can enjoy Golf Channel and CBS is Hulu, where you will find a single bundle of networks. Start your free trial on Hulu now! If you want even more content to watch, you can add any of your favorite channel packs and premium networks to the subscription.

Sling TV - We also have Sling TV, and this service comes with three bundles. You will find that CBS is part of only two of them, namely Blue and Orange + Blue. Your choice will influence the number of simultaneous streams, which means you need to know ahead of time that Blue subscribers can watch content on three devices simultaneously, and Orange + Blue subscribers can watch on four devices at the same time. One of the packs you will actually need is Sports Extra, which costs an additional $10 per month and includes, among others, Golf Channel. There are many others available to get, as well as loads of premium networks. Watch 3 Days Free on Sling TV Now!

CBS All Access - Another platform you should try out is CBS All Access, which features a lot of original content, as well as a CBS live stream. There are two subscription options here, namely Limited Commercials and Commercial Free. The first one will get you some ads as you try to watch the content, while the latter takes out every ad you can think of - except for the ones that come with the live streams, as you can't exactly avoid those. How Can I Watch the Travellers Championship From Abroad?

If you're traveling abroad for any reason, you need to know that you won't have access to the content as you do at home. This is mostly because live TV platforms and streaming services are all geo-blocked, so they cannot be accessed as easily. The solution to the problem is to make the site think you are in the United States by changing your IP address with the help of a VPN. We can recommend ExpressVPN, as it's a tool that has thousands of servers all over the world and some great privacy features to keep you protected.

Here's how you can start your subscription on ExpressVPN:

Can I Watch the Travellers Championship Live on the Network's Website?

If you're hoping to watch the Travellers Championship live on the Golf Channel's live stream, you can do that. The Golf Channel has a live stream that you can access as soon as you log in to an account. To do this, you need to have credentials from your TV provider - a live TV service or a cable company. (Note: The Golf Channel live stream is geo-blocked, so if you want to access it from abroad, you will need a VPN. You can click here to find out more details on all the things you need to do to make this work.)

If you're hoping to watch the CBS-covered parts of the Travelers Championship live on the CBS website, you should know that's not going to work. Mostly that's because there is no CBS live stream on the CBS website, as it was officially moved over to CBS All Access a while back.

Can I Watch the Travellers Championship With a TV Antenna?

This is actually a great idea if you want to watch the Travellers Championship for free. You see, TV antennas enable you to see local channels for free, and they're also pretty well-priced themselves. The problem here is that CBS does not cover every territory in the United States, so you may live in an area that does not receive it.

You should check a site like NoCable before making any purchase, so you can find out whether CBS is available in your area or not. If it all goes ok, you can then move on and figure out exactly how far the other broadcast stations are from your home so that you'll know exactly what range you need your device to cover. You should check the ones we listed above in case any of them have the right features for your household.
