There's a new sesame street special show just around the corner. We are talking about Sesame Street: Elmo's Playdate, which will be featured on all WarnerMedia channels at the same time. We're eager to watch Sesame Street: Elmo's Playdate online, so let's figure out how to do that.
Sesame Street: Elmo's Playdate is part of the Sesame Workshop Caring for Each Other initiative that aims to help kids and families feel connected during the difficult times we're all currently going through. The show will feature some pretty great guests, like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Anne Hathaway, and Tracee Ellis Ross.
They hope that with all WarnerMedia networks airing the same show at the same time, it will help bring family members together to have a little laugh and manage to relieve some of the tension that comes with social isolation.
Sesame Street: Elmo's Playdate will be broadcast on April 14th between 7 and 7.30 PM on multiple networks - TBS, TNT, truTV, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, HBO, and HBO Latino. The show also airs on PBS Kids. Later on, it will be broadcast in Australia, Canada, and the UK, starting with April 15th, though no timeline has been offered.
In today's world, we use the Internet for anything and everything, but nowadays, it's ever more apparent that we need it to communicate with others. It's also a great way to watch TV online because it gives us more room to be wherever we need to be whenever we need to be. One of the best platforms to watch Sesame Street: Elmo's Playdate is Hulu, which is home to all the networks you need. Start your Hulu 7-day free trial now!
Hulu is home to TBS, truTV, TNT, Cartoon Network, and Boomerang, and they're all in the main bundle. HBO is also available as a premium network if you want to add it to your subscription. There are also a couple of channel packs available, and other premium networks, too. Hulu works on a wide range of devices, so you'll certainly have at least one of these at home - iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, Chromecast, Roku, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and more. (Note: Hulu only works in the US, so if you happen to travel outside of the country right when the show is on, you'll need a VPN to make it work. Click here to get all the details on how to do this.)
Here's how you can start your 7-day free trial of Hulu:
fuboTV - Another platform that is home to all the channels you need is fuboTV. This one has a single bundle of channels, as well as some extra packs you can add to your subscription. HBO is not available to get on fuboTV.
Sling TV - There is also Sling TV on our list, and it's a great platform that has lots of customization options. There are three bundles available here - Orange, Blue, and Orange + Blue. When choosing the bundle you want to go with, you need to be aware that Orange subscribers can only watch content on one device at a time, Blue subscribers get three simultaneous streams, and Orange + Blue subscribers get to view content on four devices at the same time. There are also a ton of channel packs you can get, as well as premium networks to check out. HBO Now - There's also the option of subscribing to HBO if you haven't done it already. HBO has two platforms - HBO GO, for which you'll have to subscribe to HBO via a live TV or cable provider, and HBO Now, for which you subscribe directly. Start your HBO Now free trial! If you happen to be traveling outside the US and still want to watch Sesame Street: Elmo's Playdate from anywhere you may be, we have some bad news for you - live TV platforms and streaming services are all geo-blocked. It means that once your IP shows you are not in the US, your access will be prohibited. This can be overcome by simply changing your IP address to make the site believe you are back home, so you'll need a VPN for the job. We always use ExpressVPN because it's an easy-to-use tool that has thousands of servers all over the world.
Here's how you can use ExpressVPN to watch Sesame Street: Elmo's Playdate:
Yes, this is going to be a possibility, but it's not going to be an option on all networks. TBS, truTV, and TNT all have live streams on their websites, and you'll be able to enjoy them. The only thing you need to do, though, is to log into an account with the help of credentials from your TV provider. (Note: If you're outside the US, you'll need to use a VPN to make the sites believe you are back home. Click here to learn how to do this.)
With many parents concerned about Sesame Street: Elmo's Playdate cutting into their kid's sleep prep time or getting them too excited before bed, the show will also be available to watch later on. The show should be available, at the very least, on HBO, although it's quite likely it will be uploaded to other network websites too. It's all unclear at this point, but you should definitely check for it the day after the show aired. If you have a live TV subscription, you can also have the platform record it for you so you can watch whenever you have the time.
