How to Watch ‘Power’ Online: Live Stream Season 6 Episodes

By Gabriela Vatu / June 26, 2019

It's easy to get sucked in a good crime drama TV series and that's exactly what happens when you watch Power. Well, a new season of Power is coming to Starz so you can watch it all online if you want.

After premiering back in June 2014, the show quickly became quite popular, especially thanks to the story which focuses on a drug-dealer going by the name of "Ghost" and played by Omari Hardwick. The show also features Curtis Jackson, also known as 50 Cent, who is also one of the series' producers.

Since the show is currently heading for the sixth season, that should be proof enough that it has been successful. It does seem, however, that this will be the final season we see from this show. The new season will kick off on August 25, 2019, on Starz, and it seems like war is in the air.

How to Watch Power Online?

We have all become so accustomed to the freedom the Internet gives us that we sometimes forget that for video content there is such a thing called licensing deal. These prevent distributors like live TV services and streaming platforms from allowing the content to air beyond US borders. Yes, we know that's quite annoying, but it is what it is. If you have to travel abroad, however, you simply have to trick the system into thinking you're still back in the US and you can do that by changing your IP address. Well, that's quite easy to do if you subscribe to a VPN service. Let's see what you can do moving ahead.

Can You Watch Power on the Starz Website?

Sure you can, because the website features a live stream we're sure you want to access. There's a "but," however - you need to use TV provider credentials to log into an account so that you show them that you're actually paying for Starz somewhere. There's also the option of subscribing to Starz directly.

How to Watch Power Without Cable?

Cutting the cord is quite popular these days for multiple reasons. One of these reasons is the fact that cable is now much more expensive than any live TV offer on the market. Plus, live TV services don't tie subscribers down with contracts, which means you can quit at any time and switch to another service. There's also the fact that since the whole viewing process happens online, you can simply use your smartphone and an Internet connection to watch your favorite shows wherever you may be when they start. Let's see what platforms will help you get to Starz.

Sling TV - At the top of the list, we have Sling TV, which is a great service. There are loads of customization options available, starting with the three bundles you can choose between - Orange, Blue, and Orange + Blue. There is currently a deal for these bundles, where you can pay 40% less for the first month, so $15 for Orange and Blue and $25 for Orange + Blue. You can then add tons of channel packs and plenty of premium networks. Starz is one of those networks and it will cost you $9 per month to get it.

Starz - There's no way of moving forward without actually mentioning Starz since you can subscribe directly to the service. There's a deal in place where you can get a 7-day free trial and you only pay $5 per month for the first three months before the price goes up to the regular $8.99 per month. The platform gives you the chance to watch unlimited HD content, as well as to download anything you want to watch online. You can watch live content and anything else they have to offer on up to four devices at the same time. Starz has apps for multiple platforms including iOS (smartphones, tablets, and iPods) Android (smartphones and tablets), Amazon (tablets and smartphones), Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Fire Stick, Android TV, Roku, Xbox One, Xbox One S, select Sony, Samsung, and LG TV Smart TVs. You can also watch via browsers - Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

Hulu - The list continues with Hulu, which is a great platform with a single bundle of channels. The $44.99 per month subscription covers dozens of channels, as well as the full VoD library the service has at its disposal. You can add a couple of channel packs if you want to customize your plan a bit, as well as premium networks like Starz, which costs $8.99 per month.

YouTube TV - The next platform is YouTube TV, which also comes with a single bundle of channels. The $49.99 per month subscription includes access to dozens of channels. You can't add any channel packs, but there are a few premium networks you can get, including Starz, which will cost you $9 per month.

DirecTV Now - We also have DirecTV Now on the list, which is an interesting platform with seven bundles to choose from. Two of them were added earlier this year, namely Plus ($50/mo) and Max ($70/mo), but the other five were simply given a new name and new price - Entertainment ($93/mo), Choice ($110/mo), Extra ($124/mo), Ultimate ($135/mo), and Optimo Mas ($86/mo). If you want to customize the service, you can add a couple of packs featuring Spanish channels, three international channels, and several premium networks. Starz will cost you $11 per month through DirecTV Now.

How to Binge Watch Power?

One of the ways you can watch Power is to log into an account on Starz. You can do this with the help of credentials from your TV provider. Whether you're still on a cable contract, or you moved on to the live TV platforms we just discussed, you'll be able to sign in. The Starz website features all episodes. You can also watch all five seasons that have aired so far over on Hulu and the new one will certainly get added too.

You can also purchase the Power episodes or full seasons from other platforms such as YouTube, Google Play, iTunes, Microsoft Store, Vudu, or Amazon Prime. You should check all links before making a purchase in case any of them have deals running that you can take advantage of.

We can't wait to hear back from you about which platform you chose to watch Power on, so drop a comment in the section below the article. Share the article online if you have the time and follow TechNadu on our socials - Facebook and Twitter - for more tech news, guides, reviews, and interviews.
