By Gabriela Vatu / April 26, 2019

We know that "Winter is here" but things are heating up in Game of Thrones and Episode 3 is gearing up to be action-packed. With war looming on the horizon, we can only hope our favorites survive the episode. Let's go ahead and see how you can watch Game of Thrones Episode 3 online.

As you already know, the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones first aired on April 14th and set a new record for HBO. Now that most characters have survived the first two episodes, we can't help but fear what's coming a tiny bit, especially since the White Walkers are knocking on the door.

The third episode of Game of Thrones will air on Sunday, April 28, at 9 PM ET on HBO. While the first couple of episodes lasted a little under an hour, we'll see longer episodes from here on out, with the third one scheduled to last for 1 hour and 22 minutes. That's nearly what you'd expect to watch in the cinema, and we've got four more episodes full of battles, all at similar lengths. So, let's go ahead and learn all about watching the third episode of Game of Thrones online.

How Can You Watch Game of Thrones Episode 3 With a VPN?

Live TV platforms and streaming services are super great; they bring joy to millions of homes. But they also come with one annoying part - they are all geoblocked. This means that you can only watch from within the United States. Due to licensing deals, these companies can't allow their content to be broadcast beyond US borders. As annoying as this can be, it's also super common, so there's no need to get too upset over it. So if you're going to travel abroad while Game of Thrones is on, you're going to need a VPN to make it look as if you're still back into the US if you want to access the platform you're paying for. Here's what you need to do.

How to Watch Game of Thrones Live Online?

We always want to watch our favorite shows in the best way possible. Most days, that happens to be over the Internet, because cable requires you to always be home, on top of several other things. Plus, we already do everything else online, right? From binging on shows to researching for work to chatting with our friends, to ordering food, to laughing at memes. Live TV platforms offer cheaper services, they're easier to customize, and you can cancel the plan at any time you want because there's no contract to keep you tied down. Plus, since these platforms work online, you can watch your favorite shows wherever you are when they start airing, even if that's on a bus; all you need is a smartphone and an Internet connection. Let's see what options you have to watch Game of Thrones episode 3 online.

HBO Now and HBO Go - Our list kicks off with HBO's own platforms. HBO Go and HBO Now feature the same content, but you need different things to log in. HBO Go requires a cable contract to prove you're paying for the channel in some way, while HBO Now also allows users to create independent accounts and pay $14.99 per month directly to HBO. New episodes appear in the platforms minutes after they start airing on TV, so you'll get to watch at the same time as other subscribers.

Amazon Prime - Amazon Prime subscribers can have loads of fun with their plans, especially since they get access to Prime Video, Prime Music, speedy shipping, great prices, ebooks, and more. You can subscribe to HBO via Amazon for $14.99 per month, so you don't need to make a lot of separate payments.

Hulu - We have Hulu next, which is a platform that comes with a $44.99 per month subscription price. There are dozens of TV channels available in the bundle and you also get access to the VOD library, which is absolutely great. You can add a few premium networks to the subscription, including HBO which costs $14.99 per month. As a side note, you can also add HBO to the Hulu VOD plans.

DirecTV Now - The list goes on to include DirecTV Now, which is a highly versatile platform. There are seven bundles to choose from and two are absolutely new. Called Plus ($50/mo) and Max ($70/mo), they both feature HBO (while Max also comes with Cinemax included). The other five bundles have been around for a while and they're called Entertainment, Choice, Xtra, Unlimited, and Optimo Mas - they just got renamed and their price got doubled. If you want one of these, you're going to have to pay an extra $15 per month for HBO. Other premium networks are also available, as well as several Spanish channel packs and international packs.

PlayStation Vue - PlayStation Vue is on our list too, and it's such a great platform with some solid perks offered to subscribers. There are four bundles to choose from here - Access, Core, Elite, and Ultra - and all are great. Ultra, which is $79.99 per month, actually comes with HBO included, but if you choose one of the other bundles, you can simply add HBO for $15 per month. There are a couple of channel packs you can add, as well as other premium networks.
