How to Watch the 2020-2021 UEFA Champions League from Anywhere?

If you like traveling across the world, you need to know that live TV platforms and streaming services like the ones we've been discussing, are all geoblocked, which means that you cannot access any of the content when you are outside of the United States as your IP will be blocked.

As annoying as the situation can be, it's perfectly normal as they have to respect the licensing deals they have signed. Either way, you can bypass the problem whenever you travel by using a VPN. VPNs are complex tools that can route your internet connection through a foreign server and assign a new IP address to your devices. In this way, the platforms you are accessing will believe you are in this new location, namely back home.

We recommend you use ExpressVPN, which is a really great tool that features thousands of servers all over the world and some great privacy features. You need to subscribe to ExpressVPN (49% OFF), get the apps you need for your device, and then find a server that's in the United States so you can connect to it. Once the connection is established, you can load CBS All Access or fuboTV and start watching the next games of the UEFA Champions League.

What Are Some New Covid-19 Rules for UEFA Champions League 2020-2021?

The COVID-19 pandemic is raging across Europe so UEFA has implemented some special rules. For instance, if there are any travel restrictions that prevent teams from entering the home team's country or returning to their own country, the match can be played in a neutral country.

However, if a team refuses to play a match, it is considered they have forfeited the match. If both teams refuse, both teams are disqualified. Also, if any of the team players or officials test positive for COVID-19, which prevents the team from playing before the deadline set by UEFA, the match is considered forfeited.

The substitute bench has also expanded to twelve players, with teams being allowed to make three substitutions during matches, and a fourth in extra time, aside from substitutions made at half-time, as well as before the start of extra time or at half-time in extra time.

Games during the group stage will be played at 30% capacity if allowed by the local authorities. Otherwise, the games will be played behind closed doors.
