Tokyo 24th Ward Anime Series’ English Dub Makes Its Way To Crunchyroll!

Good news, anime fans: the suspenseful Tokyo 24th Ward anime series is releasing its English dubbed episodes! According to a recent update from Crunchyroll, the first two episodes of the winter 2022 series' English dub will release together. The series will then move on to a weekly release schedule. In addition, cast details for the English dubbed version of the series have also been revealed!

For fans who are unaware, Tokyo 24th Ward is an original Japanese anime series produced by CloverWorks. The series premiered in January 2022 for the winter 2022 lineup. Tokyo 24th Ward is an original anime directed by Naokatsu Tsuda, with Hidetoshi Takahashi as assistant director. Baio Shimokura serves as the series composer at an anime production house, CloverWorks.

The series is still releasing new episodes weekly, in the original Japanese version with English subtitles, with nine episodes currently out. According to reports, Tokyo 24th Ward will feature 12 episodes before concluding season 1.

Tokyo 24th Ward English Dubbed Episodes Release Date and Cast

The English dub for the Tokyo 24th Ward anime series is slated to release on Wednesday, March 16, at 10:00 AM PT. As mentioned above, the series will release the first two episodes on March 16 and move on to a weekly release schedule after. Fans looking to watch the series can check out on Crunchyroll.

The series cast includes Billy Kametz, who played Josuke Higashikata in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, as main character Shuta Aoi. In addition, Landon McDonald, who played Enmu Tamio in Demon Slayer, plays Koki Suido, and Zeno Robinson, who played Hawks in My Hero Academia, stars as Ran Akagi. Crunchyroll will air the series in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and LATAM.

"The Far Eastern Special Administrative Region, also known as the 24th Ward, is a man-made island. Shuta, Ran, and Koki were born and raised on the island. Their family backgrounds, preferences, and personalities are completely different, but they always stuck together. However, one incident changed their relationship forever.

A year afterward, the three friends are reunited by chance at a memorial service held for the incident. All three of their phones suddenly ring simultaneously. Their friend, who is supposed to be dead, is calling and demands that they make a decision about the future."
