Isekai fans, prepare yourselves! The exact time for the release of the second season of The Rising of the Shield Hero anime series has finally been announced. Fans looking forward to the return of Naofumi on their screens can expect it soon enough. The official website for The Rising of The Shield Hero previously announced that the second season of the anime series would release on April 6, 2022. Read on to know the exact time you can expect the series to air and where you can watch it.

The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Release Time and More

According to Crunchyroll's latest report, The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 premieres on Crunchyroll starting Wednesday, April 6 at 6 AM Pacific Time. The series will premiere on the AT-X channel on the aforementioned date (10 PM JST). In addition, the series will also run on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and BS11.

Crunchyroll also announced in March 2021 that the second season of The Rising of the Shield Hero would be available to users in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS. Fans can check out the first series on Crunchyroll and Funimation. The upcoming second season of Shield Hero is also slated to air on Crunchyroll. The platform also features English dubbed episodes and Russian, German, French, Spanish, and Portuguese dubs.

Crunchyroll's official description for the Rising of the Shield Hero series reads:

"Iwatani Naofumi, a run-of-the-mill otaku, finds a book in the library that summons him to another world. He is tasked with joining the sword, spear, and bow as one of the Four Cardinal Heroes and fighting the Waves of Catastrophe as the Shield Hero.

Excited by the prospect of a grand adventure, Naofumi sets off with his party. However, merely a few days later, he is betrayed and loses all his money, dignity, and respect. Unable to trust anyone anymore, he employs a slave named Raphtalia and takes on the Waves and the world.

But will he really find a way to overturn this desperate situation?"
