Filming for The Righteous Gemstones season four began in May 2024, as confirmed by Rough House Pictures on Instagram with a clapperboard image and the caption, "We Are So Back. Shooting season 4 HAS BEGUN!”
By October 2024, filming had officially wrapped. Goggins marked the occasion with an Instagram post stating, “Just wrapped season 4 of the TRG,” alongside black-and-white behind-the-scenes photos, which he shared “out of respect for our costume designer and HBO.”
