Samsung Offers $400 Discount on Frame TV
- Samsung is offering discounts of $400 on its Frame TV lineup of premium TVs.
- Both the 55” and 65” models have been discounted by $400 bringing the prices $1,598 and $2,398 respectively.
- The discounts put the 55” model on par with what the 43” variant was priced at last year.
Samsung is offering great discounts on its Frame TV lineup of Smart TVs on Amazon. The Frame TV was introduced by Samsung as a television that doubles up as a work of art when it is not being used. Samsung is celebrating Mother’s Day with discounts of $400 on the 55” and 65” variants of the TV through May 12.
The Frame TV allows the display to become a work of art. With wooden frame options available for the TV, they resemble old photo frames. The TVs are quite thick and shy away from the sleek designs of modern day living room TVs. To add to the illusion of an actual frame, Samsung offers bezels that are similar to what you would find for framed paintings. Currently, Samsung is offering frames in Walnut, Beige Wood or White metallic finishes. The stock model comes with a metallic finish on all sides.

Both the 55” and 65” Frame TVs come with minimal cable management and you only need 2 cables – one “Connect Cable” to connect to any number of devices and one power cable. The Connect Cable connects to a “Connect Box” which comes with four HDMI 2.0 ports with HDCP 2.2 (one with ARC), three USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, optical audio out, the One Connect port, and an Antenna input.
The display technology is in line with the 2017 Samsung flagship QLED TVs. Samsung also offers the option to skip the wall mount and go for a standard artsy studio stand. The Samsung Studio Stand can be purchased separately to frame the TV as a piece of art with cable management mechanisms present in one of the legs of the stand.
The TV comes with 100 still images and photographs to display as art. Samsung also offers a paid membership to the proprietary Art Store to pick from a much bigger collection.
