Max has unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for its first-ever national roller skating competition series, Roller Jam. Hosted by Grammy-nominated singer Jordin Sparks, this thrilling new show features some of the most talented roller-skating crews from across America, competing for a massive $150,000 prize.
With an exclusive sneak peek at the dynamic routines, the trailer promises a showdown of incredible talent as teams skate through the decades in front of expert judges like two-time U.S. Olympian Johnny Weir and roller-skating legend Terrell Ferguson.
But that's not all—Roller Jam is also making headlines for its impressive guest judges, including pop culture icons Michelle Williams, Maureen McCormick, and Debbie Gibson, who will join the panel to decide which team reigns supreme.

The six-episode competition series premieres on Max on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, with new episodes released weekly. The finale will air on Nov. 14, 2024. It will also be broadcast on Magnolia Network starting Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024.
Roller Jam is a competition series showcasing the nation's top roller-skating crews battling for a $150,000 cash prize and a $10,000 donation to their local rink.
Hosted by Grammy-nominated singer and American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, the show also features two-time U.S. Olympian Johnny Weir and roller-skating legend Terrell Ferguson as judges.
Each week, a celebrity guest judge joins the panel to evaluate the skate teams, who must perform brand-new routines in front of a live audience. Crews from cities like New York, Nashville, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and St. Louis will compete for the title of America’s best roller-dancing team.
In the exclusive trailer, a voice announces, “This is the biggest thing in roller skate history,” as the camera zooms in on shiny skates below a disco ball. Sparks follows with, “This is Roller Jam,” introducing a montage of skate crews from cities like Atlanta, Houston, and New York showing off their skills. Ferguson reveals the $150,000 prize up for grabs as the colorful rink, glowing “Roller Jam” sign and vibrant neon lights come into view. Weir adds, “This show is the first time ever that roller skating is being appreciated,” while teams perform stunning choreography and share glimpses of their intense training, capturing the dedication and passion behind their routines.

Chip and Joanna Gaines, alongside producers Nikki Boella (America’s Got Talent, Rhythm + Flow) and Brian Lando (A Very Brady Renovation), are executive producing Roller Jam. In addition to Roller Jam, the duo is also behind two other reality shows premiering on Max: Second Chance Stage, an eight-episode talent competition, and Human vs. Hamster, where extraordinary pet hamsters compete against human teams in scaled challenges. Magnolia Network first revealed Roller Jam’s development in August 2023.
