Power Slap Rules
The rules of Power Slap are simple. There is a coin toss to decide which athlete throws the first slap. After that, the first striker has a time limit of 30 seconds to deliver an open-handed slap to their opponent’s face. They can only throw a slap below the eye but above the chin. They are not allowed to lead with their palms and must ensure that all hand-to-face contact takes place simultaneously. The strikers must also not club, step, or do illegal wind-ups. The person being slapped cannot flinch, raise their shoulders, delay the opponent’s slap, or tuck in their chins.
After the first slap, the person who was slapped has 30 seconds to recover and get back into position before they can get ready for their turn to slap. After three rounds, the fight goes to a judge’s decision. The contest can also be won by knockout or total knockout, much like boxing and MMA.
