What is Next Gen NYC About?
Next Gen NYC is Bravo’s upcoming unscripted series that follows a dynamic circle of 20-something friends — including Real Housewives kids, celebrity offspring, NYC natives, and fresh faces — as they navigate the messy, glamorous, and often chaotic transition into adulthood in the heart of Manhattan. Some were raised by reality TV royalty, while others are carving their own path from the ground up.
According to a press release from Bravo, the series “follows a tangled web of friends raised in the spotlight — or at least close enough for good lighting — as they stumble into adulthood one brunch, breakup and spontaneous decision at a time.”
The network adds, “Whether stepping out of their parents’ shadows or creating their own legacies from scratch, these twentysomethings are determined to conquer Manhattan — if they can figure out how to adult first. Together, they’ll navigate friendships, careers and romance, proving that trouble runs on espresso martinis and questionable decisions.”
Set against the fast-paced backdrop of New York City, Next Gen NYC promises a high-energy mix of ambition, personal drama, and coming-of-age moments — as this next generation dives headfirst into city life and the complicated realities of figuring it all out in front of the cameras.
Who’s in the cast of Next Gen NYC?
- Ariana Biermann: Leaving Atlanta behind, Ariana is stepping into New York with nothing but ambition, her high-school sweetheart Hudson, and dreams of launching her own streetwear line. Having grown up with the chaos of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” thanks to mom Kim Zolciak-Biermann, she’s no stranger to drama — but Manhattan brings a whole new challenge. Can she carve out her independence or will the city test her Southern roots?
- Riley Burruss: Smart, grounded, and brutally honest, Riley is the no-nonsense daughter of Kandi Burruss. She’s crushed internships, graduated from NYU, and is staring down a big decision: follow her passion or take the safe route to law school. With Ariana back in town and old friendships reigniting, Riley’s about to find out that adulthood doesn’t come with a manual.
- Ava Dash: Cool, confident, and born for the spotlight, Ava Dash is Tribeca-raised and L.A.-seasoned, returning to NYC to pursue modeling full-time. With her laid-back energy and natural charisma, she turns heads effortlessly — but a new romance and shifting dynamics could throw her perfectly composed world off balance.
- Emira D’Spain: Content creator and former Paper magazine beauty director, Emira is ambition personified. With her NYU credentials and nonstop hustle, she’s built an enviable life — but even she isn’t immune to the emotional chaos of juggling relationships, friendships, and success in the city that never sleeps.
- Shai Fruchter: After growing up between Israel and China, and later settling in New Jersey, Shai is embracing the freedom of NYC life. Artistic, introspective, and curious, he’s stepping into a bold new friend group that could challenge everything he thought he knew about connection, loyalty, and self-discovery.
- Gia Giudice: Jersey royalty turned aspiring legal powerhouse, Gia is balancing post-grad life, a serious relationship, and her own ambitions — all while living under the shadow of her mom, Teresa Giudice (The Real Housewives of New Jersey). As she splits time between New Jersey and Manhattan, the pressure to prioritize her own path is reaching a breaking point.
- Brooks Marks: Brooks is a fashion entrepreneur known for his signature tracksuits and a knack for landing in the middle of drama due to his mom Meredith Marks, who made her debut on “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.” As he turns 25, he’s at a personal crossroads: keep catering to others or finally focus on himself. With his family and friendships pulling him in different directions, his polished exterior might be harder to maintain than ever.
- Georgia McCann: Downtown darling Georgia is a fourth-generation New Yorker who blends creativity, activism, and a fierce love for her city. As a brand strategist and scene queen, she knows how to run the room — but unexpected romance and fragile friendships could shake her carefully built empire.
- Hudson McLeroy: Southern charm meets New York ambition in Hudson, an investor who’s traded Atlanta for the fast pace of Manhattan — and a shot at making things work with longtime love Ariana. But between new friendships and big city pressures, Hudson may find that love isn’t the only thing being put to the test.
- Charlie Zakkour: Blunt, bold, and always in the know, Charlie is a crypto trader with deep ties to the city’s nightlife scene. His loyalty runs deep — especially to close friends like Ava — but this summer, freedom might be more complicated than he expected, especially when no-strings-attached starts pulling emotional weight.
Fans can also expect cameos from Bravo icons including Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Kandi Burruss, Teresa Giudice, Meredith and Seth Marks, as well as Brooks’ sister Chloe Marks, who appears as a friend of the cast.
Is There a Trailer for Next Gen NYC?
The Next Gen NYC trailer teases an unfiltered look into the lives of Real Housewives' next-gen stars as they navigate young adulthood in Manhattan—with chaos, confessionals, and confrontation at every turn.
The trailer opens with the group riding a double-decker bus through NYC, only to be hilariously smacked by low-hanging tree branches. Later, Gia Giudice admits she's "petrified" while riding a packed subway, a first for her. And when Brooks Marks mistakes Ben Affleck for Adam Sandler, Ariana Biermann drops the line: “Who the f--- is Ben Affleck?”
With friendships tested, money drama exploding, and egos clashing, Georgia perfectly sums it up: “This friend group is honestly a beautiful hot mess.” Brooks also clashes with his mom, Meredith Marks: “You fired me last week,” he says, to which Meredith replies in disbelief, “I don’t know why you say that.”
Family ties don’t spare anyone from drama either. Riley Burruss racks up a massive bill, prompting Kim Zolciak to call Kandi Burruss, who warns, “It better not be on the card I pay for!” Meanwhile, Ava Dash doesn’t hold back on Ariana’s fashion ambitions, saying, “I didn’t think she has the best style for a fashion designer.” Ariana’s response? “Becky with the good hair? I want Ava with the bitch ass attitude.”
But the real drama heats up when the cast starts coming for each other. “You still get money from your dad, 10K a month in allowance,” Georgia McCann throws at Charlie Zakkour. His fiery comeback? “You would not be on this show if it weren’t for me!”
With cameos from Bravo OGs and nonstop drama, Next Gen NYC promises to be the messiest, most entertaining ride yet. Check out the trailer below.
