After years of waiting, the My Dress-Up Darling anime is finally here! Since its anime release, the series has been making waves, making fans quite excited for the next episode. The previous episode of My Dress-Up Darling saw a stressed-out Gojo who realizes that the cosplay event is in two weeks. As Gojo returns with his shopping bags with Kitagawa's outfit inside, his grandfather catches a glimpse and falls in shock.
At the hospital, Gojo has an unpleasant encounter with his cousin Miori. Later that day, Gojo tells Kitagawa everything that happened, who is worried and tells him she wants to help. As the cosplay event comes closer, Gojo worries he might not finish the outfit in time and disappoint Kitagawa. However, remembering his grandfather's words about pushing through difficult situations, he works through the night and completes the costume in time.
Kitagawa comes over to see it and is surprised to find out how much work Gojo put in for the outfit. She then explains that there are multiple cosplay events each week and was not planning to attend the one he was stressing about because she assumed he'd be busy with his grandfather. After apologizing to Gojo, she tries on the outfit and is very pleased with the look.
