HTC U model equipped with Snapdragon 835 chip, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 16-megapixel camera

In 2017, HTC has launched the new model HTC U, a new flagship device from HTC has appeared on Antutu Benchmarks and the smartphone equipped with Snapdragon 835 processor. The company already confirmed the new devices which will be releasing another flagship with Qualcomm's latest chip this year, the testing already over.

The latest release of the smartphone in Samsung company is Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are also taking the Snapdragon 835 chip and it is available now. Because of the close relationship between Qualcomm and Samsung. That means next in line is HTC. The company like LG have decided to sidestep the high-end chip and use an alternative chip like Snapdragon 821.

The HTC company also did the same thing to its next new model U Ultra announced earlier in 2017. Already many times Qualcomm chipset device's arrival date was changed. But now they confirmed to release in next flagship in the year 2017.

Antutu Benchmarks have confirmed earlier, that it will indeed pack of Snapdragon 835 chip, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 16-megapixel camera. Other specifications include a 12-megapixel front side camera, Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and a Quad HD (2560*1440) display.

There is no detail about when it will be released and all. But HTC will likely have to wait until around May month when the Snapdragon 835 is available.

This year, HTC Company reveals many products and make more profitable in their business. HTC will most likely price the HTC U in the premium segment, not yet decided the approximate price and smartphone is expected to launch sometime in early May.
