The event is a weekly doubleheader that streams exclusively on Apple TV+ on Friday nights, free from local broadcast restrictions. Apple TV Plus is offering two games on its platform every Friday night from April 8 to June 24, and we have all the details regarding the schedule. How to Watch Friday Night Baseball on Apple TV Plus
To access Friday Night Baseball games on Apple TV+, launch the Apple TV app and select the game directly from there. Pause, fast forward, and other playback controls aren't available with Friday Night Baseball.

- Go to the Apple TV Plus tab.
- At the top of the page, tap or click Friday Night Baseball (you might need to swipe left to find it).
- From here, select the desired live game, and you can start streaming.

- Tap on Apple TV Plus Game.
- You will be redirected to the Apple TV app, so follow the steps above next.

Friday Night Baseball will be available to fans in eight countries exclusively on Apple TV+ on Fridays throughout the regular season, and you can find them below.

Where Is Friday Night Baseball Available on Apple TV Plus?

- On Mac, iPhone, and iPad: Friday Night Baseball is available in the Apple TV app. Open it and click on the Originals tab, then scroll down to Major League Baseball.
- On Apple TV 4K and HD: Open the Apple TV app, go to the Sports tab, then scroll down to Major League Baseball. You will be able to see the schedule and add games to your Up Next list.
- On Smart TVs, streaming devices, cable set-top boxes: Several Smart TVs and other streaming devices (Amazon Fire TV stick, Google Chromecast, Roku, Xbox, Playstation, etc.) have the Apple TV app preinstalled. You can search for it on the Apple App Store on your device and install it yourself if you don't have it (update your device software if the app doesn't show at all).
- On the Web: Apple TV is available on the tv.apple.com website through a browser. If you don't see Friday Night Baseball in the marquee spot at the top of the page, scroll down until you find it.
Can I Watch Friday Night Baseball in 4K on Apple TV Plus?
Apple published a press release when April began, but there was no mention of any of the matches being available in 4K. We can assume we won't be able to watch any of the Friday Night Baseball events in 4K on Apple TV Plus, but we will make sure to update this article if anything changes.
Is Friday Night Baseball Free on Apple TV Plus?
Apple TV Plus usually costs $4.99 a month, and the service also includes original movies, TV shows, and documentaries. However, the company says the MLB games will be available for free for a limited time, without the need for a subscription - a press release revealed the first 12 weeks of games are free, meaning all games are free until June 24.
After that, we might be required to pay the $4.99 monthly subscription fee to watch the games, but we will have to wait and see.

Yes, you need an Apple ID to watch MLB on Apple TV Plus. As long as you want to access MLB games that are available for free during the limited-time promotion, you won't need a subscription. However, you will need an Apple ID to watch the Friday night games on Apple TV Plus.
2022 MLB Friday Night Baseball Schedule
The Friday Night Baseball 2022 season debuted on April 8 with two marquee games: the New York Mets versus the Washington Nationals, live from Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. On April 15, MLB commemorated Jackie Robinson Day, marking the 75th anniversary of the Hall of Famer’s historic Major League debut.
