Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 1 has recently been released, and we bet you're wondering what "Part 2" has in store for you. The post-apocalyptic action-filled series has had fans at the edge of their seats ever since its release in 2013. Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2, also known as "The Final Season", has a lot of twists and turns coming up, bringing Eren Yeager's story to an end.

The original manga series created by Hajime Isayama came to a close last year and immediately took the internet by storm. While manga readers already know what lies in store for the final season of Attack on Titan, anime-only watchers might be in for a shock. Read on to find out how many episodes of Attack on Titan you can expect this season.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 Episodes

Attack on Titan has never done things like most other anime series. Whether it's their mystery filled gripping content or the format of their episodes, the show has maintained its individuality. The first two seasons of Attack on Titan aired regularly, with a few OVAs in between.

However, the series adopted a new format for its episodes after the second season by releasing Season 3 in two parts. As expected, the show's fourth season also maintained the same form, releasing Season 4 Part 1 last year with a total of 16 episodes.

Fans were expecting AOT's Season 4 Part 2 to have the same number of episodes as Part 1, if not more. However, it seems that we are in for a bit of a disappointment regarding that matter. Attack on Titan season 4 part 2 will seemingly only consist of 12 episodes.

The first episode of Season 4 Part 2, titled "Judgment," was released on January 9, 2022. Interestingly, Twitter user AoTWiki has also confirmed via a TV listing that the second episode of the final season will be titled "Sneak Attack." Fans can expect the next episode to air on Sunday, and you can check out the release times for your country's time zones.
