YouTube Ripping Service 'Y2Mate' Blocked Access to U.S. and U.K. Visitors
Last updated August 4, 2021
Freeview has made its presence felt global with the free-to-air digital TV platform offering a number of networks available under the service. The UK variant of the service has brought together some of the biggest networks including ITV, BBC, and Channel 4 for Live TV streams and on-demand content from All 4, My5, iPlayer, the ITV Hub, and UKTV Play.
If you access Freeview from the UK, you can now download the new iOS app that will allow you to catch up on all of your favorite shows in one place. Not all of the channels are available on the mobile app currently, but we can expect them to be available soon. An Android version of the app is currently in development, and we can expect it to release sometime soon.
All of the channels available on Freeview have their own exclusive apps but using Freeview allows you to discard all of your existing apps and view your favorite shows and movies in one place. The app has all the features you’d expect including a universal search feature and a TV guide to make it easier for users to get to the content they want to see. Reminders are also available to ensure you do not miss out on the latest episodes!
Freeview has curated recommendations available as well that uses algorithms to help users find new content to watch based on their viewing history. The app is free and does not require a subscription fee. However, users need to have access to a valid TV license from one of the available networks to view content.
